Wichita, Kansas

When you think of Wichita, do only images of Dorothy and vast corn fields appear? In reality, Wichitans enjoy both the attractions of a major metropolitan area (with a population of more than 500,000), as well as the qualities that make a smaller city appealing. As you'd expect from a big city, ours is full of things to do. Rich with culture, sports, shopping, and a wealth of activities and interests.

Wichita has all the enticements of a well-populated well-planned urban center. However, it still has the qualities that make a small community inviting, such as not having to fight the traffic everywhere you go and neighborhoods where you know your family is safe. These things may seem simple on the surface, but they really make life more enjoyable and less complicated.
