Medford & Enid, OklahomaMedford is a farming community and the county seat of Grant County Oklahoma. Medfords primary agricultural income is from wheat and stocker cattle. Grant County is among the top wheat producing counties in the state. Medford is located near the Kansas border in northern Oklahoma, west of Blackwell and Ponca City with a population of about 1200. Enid is located about 70 miles from Oklahoma City with a population of about 50,000. Enid has diversified its industrial base and is the home of both nationally recognized corporations as well as home-grown industries. Food processing, metal fabricating, machine shop industries, and equipment can be found in Enid. Another major staple of the economy is Vance Air Force Base. Cimate
